Negative

N

Negative commonly denotes in relation to photography. It refers to films with images. However, the values of the image have been somewhat reversed. The effect is that the darker spots on the image would appear to be lighter when viewed from the film. This could also be vice versa. It is a standard concept in printing. Usage varies with process and material.

Neutral pH

In print practice, neutral ph means These would refer to offset papers that have been made with a range of 6-8 when it comes to pH levels. The scale that is used to measure it would be between.0-14. Note that the pH factors that are considered to be neutral are normally integrated into the sheets of paper at a very low-value point. The aim is to make sure that stability and permanence of the offset papers are accomplished especially in relation to printing records that are considered to be archival. It concerns the properties or grades of the paper stock. Selection affects stiffness, opacity, and printability.

Nominal Weight

Technically, nominal weight describes often used to describe the basis weight of the sheet. When measuring or calculating the nominal weight, there is usually a tolerance gap of plus 5 or vice versa. The standard usually unless it has provided for by a client or the mill. It is a metric used for setup or quality evaluation. Higher values do not always imply better quality; context matters.

Non-impact printers

Non-impact printers refers to printer which creates an image without any form of impact. It is equipment used for production or quality control.
